Metabolomics is a powerful set of methods that uses analytical techniques to identify and quantify metabolites in biological samples, providing snapshot the metabolic state system. In medicine, metabolomics may help reveal molecular basis disease, make diagnosis, monitor treatment responses, while agriculture, it can improve crop yields plant breeding. However, animal faces several challenges due complexity diversity metabolomes, lack standardized protocols, difficulty interpreting metabolomic data. The current dataset includes quantitative profiles eye lenses from 26 bird species (111 specimens) aid researchers developing new experiments, mathematical models, integrating with other “-omics” raw 1H NMR spectra, protocols for sample preparation, data preprocessing, final table containing information on abundance 89 reliably identified quantified metabolites. quantitative, making relevant supplementing specimens or comparison groups, followed by mining expected interpretations. were obtained using collected compliance ethical standards revealed potential differences pathways phylogenetic environmental exposure.
